Hi, I'm Josiah!
I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, emotional and spiritual burnout, men’s issues, and relationship challenges. I primarily practice Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and also draw from trauma-informed care, Gestalt Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), depending on what best supports your goals.
I’m passionate about helping people discover and strengthen their inner resources. I believe real change happens in the context of a safe, supportive relationship, and I count it a privilege to walk alongside others in this work. While I am personally a Christian, I welcome clients of all backgrounds and can incorporate spirituality into therapy as much or as little as you prefer.
My professional background includes six years as a high school science teacher, before making a shift and receiving my Masters in Counseling from Western Seminary in 2025.
Outside of work, my wife and I enjoy running, traveling, watching movies, and wrangling our two young kids—who keep life fun and interesting!
I am currently accepting new clients on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Camas office and via telehealth for clients located in Washington and Oregon. Please reach out to see if working together would be a good fit.
I am currently supervised by Dr. Bart Fowler, M.A. Psy.D., a licensed psychologist in Washington (PY60153263) and in Oregon (1297). I abide by Washington state law and ethics pertaining to counselors and the American Counseling Association code of ethics.

FEES
Initial appointments are scheduled as intakes and are billed at: *$280
Recurring appointments with established clients are billed at: *$185 (60-minute session)
*We offer discounts and scholarships based on reported financial need.
Josiah is able to bill these insurances under his supervision with Dr. Bart Fowler:
Aetna, Regence, Providence, Premera, Cigna/Evernorth, Lifewise of Washington, OHP (Open Network only at this time).
Out of network with all other insurance providers. Superbills available upon request. HSA/FSA accepted.
